Rapids Riders Meeting/ November 2004

Officers present: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Web Manager.

Pool Sessions are starting on Sunday evenings from November 28 and run until March 6 from 5pm to 7pm at the Brooklyn Center Pool.

Lou, Editor of the HUT welcomes whitewater photos and articles. His contact information is located on the inside cover of the HUT.

Holiday Party is scheduled for December 4^th at the Isaac Walton League starting at 5pm

The Whitewater Park tour was a success, thank you to all who participated in the event.

The Vermillion River Clean Up was a success, thank you to all volunteers, there were over 60 of you!

It was reported that the RR website was down for a short time due to not being notified of expiration, it is now up and running. Race information will be added.

Treasurer report was given.

Friends of the Vermillion River Trail meeting is Monday, November 29^th at 9:30pm at the DNR headquarters, RR members are encouraged to attend if interested.

In the works: the Vermillion River is being considered to become an official state canoe route.
