We are tax exempt with the State of Minnesota.  The club is currently in the process of becoming a 501(c) with the Federal Government.

Friends of the Vermillion:  Dale reports that the city of Hastings is concerned that an educational signs would get vandalized so the donation from RR will be redirected to go towards an educational brochure that will be distributed.  A sign may still be made.

White Water Park:  Please continue to contact the governor’s office with phone calls and letters of support and for the whitewater park.  Also, if you have points of contact with the DNR please voice support.

Reminder:  RR is an official member of the Adopt-a-River program.  Every year we clean up the Vermillion River.  Next year we will be receiving supplies through this program from the state.  The current plan is to post some information on the website about RR’s support with the clean up.
