Skills Sessions:
- Feb. 6 beginners strokes clinic – Art will lead
- Feb. 20 refresher strokes clinic – Scott/Chad will lead
- February 27 and March 6: rolling clinics – Scott will lead
In the past, this has been a mandate (?) for instructors to be CRP certified per Art.
Is this something we want to think about doing again?
Canoe U
- May 8th, 2011 is the pool session night - was added to the website and facebook page
- Discussion of moving the Survivor's Party to Wausau for a rec release. will discuss again in Feb.
- Chad & Kathy will be in charge of food again this year
- Nora will set up a facebook page for CanoeU 2011 students
- Online payment and registration forms needs to be in place ASAP (by Jan. 31) & all in one place: an online store attached to Pay Pal - Bob W. suggested getting a hosting site and is gathering info
- Art will meet with Bob to get this going
- Let's incorporate a tool that will give us student feedback anonymously
- Brian Z. needs RR's Charter/Governing Documents in order to start our 501C3 tax thing-a-ma-bobber started
- Nora will ask Dave F about this.
- Separate bank accounts - Alan will set up a new account this weekend.
- Heather needs the Mike's banner to hang at the pool sessions
- Heather is working on a brochure.
- Bob is advertising in 3 local magazines. Heather K. gave him the info he was looking for.
