Rapids Riders Meeting
Meeting Minutes
January 13, 2010
Present: Alex P, Heather K., Seth D. Chris P., Dave F., Dave S., Melissa A., Tina A.,
Alan F., Melissa G., Mike M., Chad K., Art C.
- Chad will teach the pool skill sessions
- Art will call Brian about a safety day pool session
- Chad will be asked about whether we should do one or two skill sessions
- Art will write a description of the advanced skill session for the website
- There will not be open pool session during the skill sessions
- Chad reports Norway Point reservation are taken care of.
- Art and Alan will handle ACA registrations this year due to difficulties last year.
- Alex will talk to Dave again to get the new class posted to the website.
- Jeremiah will look into getting Paypal payment option added
- Alex will talk to Lynn (Marketing board member—blew off this meeting) to promote the class
- Sent $3500 check to Wausau for work on Big Drop to attempt changing it into a surf wave.
- Made money in November on pool sessions
Other Business
- Melissa will talk to Midwest about a boat demo day
- Jeremiah will get the ability to post to website in the event that Dave is not able to do so
- Art would like to look into bringing in a guest instructor for the benefit of instructors
- Jeremiah will be looking into moving location to Midwest Mountaineering—watch for location
change!
